So….
I have waited to post this while I looked for a solution, however I haven’t found one yet, so……
Due to very unforseen circumstances, OnAir Paranormal is temporarily (I hope) OFF the air. I am sorry for this and hope I can come up with a solution soon but for now, this is how it must be.
Please continue to enjoy our archive of podcasts and drop us a line.
Remember, always keep an open mind, but don’t get crazy!

Yes, we are alive!!!
Have you missed us? We’re still here!
We’ve been swamped with investigations the past several months, but we haven’t stopped thinking about our glorious OnAir audience. Thanks for being patient with us, and don’t forget to send in suggestions for content. In 2011, we plan to try to go bi-monthly, not because we don’t love doing this, but because we are so busy with cases and helping folks that there isn’t enough time in the day anymore. We prefer to put out quality content vs. quantity.
Look for a new episode very soon!
It’s not too late to win an OnAir mug! Shoot us an email with your favorite episode, and we’ll enter you in the drawing. podcast@arkansasparanormal.net
Talk to you soon, and remember, always keep an open mind, but don’t get crazy!

Episode 17
In this episode, we talk to Steven LaChance, author of The Uninvited and the recently released Crazy. Steven also tells us of his and his children’s experiences living in the Union Screaming House in Union, MO. The LaChance family was featured on an episode of Discovery Channel’s A Haunting (episode Fear House), and Steven helps clear up some of the facts the show didn’t accurately portray. We also announce our very first contest open to listeners of our show.

Episode 16 – Epis”ode” to the Old Arkansas TB Sanatorium

Leo E. Nyberg Building
25: 49 | In this episode, we pay special tribute to one of our all-time favorite places to investigate: the Old Arkansas Tuberculosis Sanatorium. This show includes a brief history of this historic site, testimony of investigators about their personal experiences with the building, and some interesting audio captured on investigations. There are a few other goodies thrown in as well. We felt a little sentimental and nostalgic this time, and we felt the old sanatorium deserved to have a show of its own. Here’s hoping you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoy visiting one of our favorite “haunts.”

Episode 15
In this episode, we have a very special guest. We’re joined by Travis Walton, author of Fire in the Sky, a book that was later made into a major motion picture. On November 5, 1975, at the end of a long work day, a crew of loggers - including Mr. Walton - notice a strange glow in the evening sky. Mr. Walton got out of the truck to get a closer look, and a beam of light shot down and struck him. In this podcast, Mr. Walton shares his incredible story with us. He walks us through what happened that night and describes the aftermath of his experience.

Episode 14
In this episode, I speak with Mindy and Amy about our experiences at the Myrtle’s Plantation in St. Francisville, LA. From there, we go off on a few weird tangents before I play a recording of our presentation at APRA’s recent EVP workshop. The presentation, The Science of Sound, gives a brief history of EVP and covers some basics behind sound. Notwithstanding the tornados spinning through our state that day, we feel our presentation swayed and captivated our entire audience of five. The PowerPoint that accompanied the presentation will be available on APRA’s homepage very soon. Please check back, and we will provide the link.

We just wanted to let everyone know that due to some unexpected illnesses this month, we will not have a February 2010 podcast. Thank you for your continued support of OnAir Paranormal and your understanding that these things sometimes happen. Please continue to send in your ideas for upcoming episodes, and “remember to always keep an open mind, but don’t get crazy!”
